🦋 Cambridge English: Flyers (A2 CEFR)
Flyers is the highest level of the Cambridge Young Learners tests, ideal for children aged 9–12. It prepares them to use English independently in a wider range of everyday situations. Learners can write short stories, understand longer texts, and take part in conversations with confidence. Reaching Flyers means children are ready for the next big step: Cambridge English Key (KET) at A2 level.
Key (KET) is the next step after Flyers, designed for teens and adults who want to prove their basic English skills. At this level, learners can understand everyday phrases, handle simple conversations, and write short texts like notes, messages, and emails. The course builds practical confidence for travel, study, or first jobs where basic English is needed. By the end, learners can express opinions, ask and answer questions, and manage routine situations with ease. KET is a solid foundation for moving up to the Preliminary (PET) level.
Preliminary (PET) is ideal for students who want to use English more independently in study, travel, or work. At B1 level, learners can read simple books and articles, write emails and reports, and take part in conversations on familiar topics. The course strengthens grammar, vocabulary, and fluency to help learners manage both social and professional situations. By the end, students can express opinions, compare ideas, and communicate with greater accuracy and confidence. PET is the gateway to higher-level Cambridge exams like First (FCE).
